Pilates Personal Training

One-on-one.
Built around you.

You move every day - at a desk, playing on a court, through a pregnancy, after an injury.

“How well you move determines how well you live.”

Pilates changes how your body moves. Not just during a session - in everything you do outside of it.

The Zone has been Bangalore's standard for serious fitness and rehabilitation since the early 1990s.

Anjali Sareen introduced Pilates to India in 2005 — and The Zone has been at the centre of it ever since. ‍

How you train, at our studio in Bangalore, is the result of her accumulated knowledge and experience — spanning 35 years across fitness, rehabilitation, sports conditioning, yoga, martial arts, and dance.

This is not a programme that follows trends. It is built on what works.

WHO IS THIS FOR

Train to move, work, and play better — with strength and mobility that carries into everything you do.

Pilates at The Zone is for you if:

| You are a desk-bound professional

You sit for long hours and carry the consequences in your back, neck, or shoulders.

| You’ve trained elsewhere

You've tried Pilates and want to experience what it looks like when it's taught properly.

| You are a serious athlete or active person

You train hard in another sport or activity and want a stronger, more resilient body to support it.

| You are recovering from injury

You need structured, progressive rehabilitation - not generic exercise.

| You are pregnant or postpartum

You want expert, safe guidance through that period.

| You want to move and feel better

You want to move more efficiently, feel less stiff, and build real functional strength

WHAT YOUR SESSIONS LOOK LIKE

Every session at The Zone - Bangalore's original Pilates studio - is private, 45 minutes, and designed specifically for you.

There is no standard chart. No class format. All sessions by appointment only.

Before your first session we understand your goals, your history, and your lifestyle. Your programme is built from that - and it evolves as you do.

Why private training makes the difference

In a private session, every exercise is selected for your body. Corrections are immediate. Progression is deliberate. There are no gaps where poor movement patterns go unnoticed — because there is no divided attention.

Group classes offer an accessible entry point. But poor alignment repeated over many sessions doesn't just slow progress — it creates the injuries that set it back entirely. The hidden cost is often paid later.

Private sessions are an investment in efficiency, safety, and results that compound over time.

WHAT CHANGES

What consistent Pilates training does

| POSTURE AND ALIGNMENT

Most chronic pain — in the back, neck, hips, and knees — has a postural root. Pilates addresses those imbalances directly, not just the symptom.

| CORE STRENGTH THAT WORKS IN REAL LIFE

Not aesthetic core. Functional core — the deep stabilisers that protect your spine, support your joints, and make every movement more efficient.

| STRENGTH, ENDURANCE, AND DEFINITION

Working with spring-resistance on the Pilates Reformer and other equipment builds muscular strength, endurance, stability, balance, and muscle definition.

| MOBILITY THAT WORKS

Not passive flexibility, but the kind of mobility the body actually uses — free, controlled movement through a joint's full range, while it is under load.

| BODY AWARENESS

You begin to understand how you move, where you compensate, and how to correct it. This reduces injury and improves performance across everything else you do.

| ENERGY AND MENTAL CLARITY

Pilates is a mind-body method. Sessions demand focus. The carry-over into work, concentration, and stress levels is something almost every client notices within weeks.

THE INSTRUCTORS

The results you get from Pilates depend almost entirely on the quality of the training and programming behind it.

Your Zone instructor knows how to read your body — identifying where you compensate, where you're strong, and where you need more challenge or more care. Every correction, every exercise selection, every progression is deliberate. You feel the difference in how you move, not just during a session but outside of it.

This depth of skill goes well beyond certification. Every Zone instructor is trained and mentored under Anjali Sareen — India's original Pilates master trainer and teacher trainer — and it shows in every one-on-one session.
